Who We Are
Ed Pawlowski AIA is an architect living in Virginia Beach, Virginia. His love for architecture started in his teens while in high school. The journey of becoming an architect began after a summer of traveling throughout Europe with his family. It was after seeing and experiencing the iconic European architecture, the prized art by the masters, and the pattern of place that his life-long passion for architecture begin.
After graduating from the College of Architecture at Virginia Tech, he began his career in the Washington metropolitan area and eventually relocated to the Tidewater area of Virginia with his family. After years of leading and collaborating with design teams at nationally acclaimed architectural firms, he now dedicates his design focus and design studio practice to smaller scale projects, namely, custom residential projects and commercial tenant build outs.
Ed’s design mission is to continue to create timeless, expressive architecture that both inspires and reflects the values of each client and is informed by how the client lives and the history of the place they are building in.
Ed maintains architectural licenses in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
